Jesús Olivera Cabo.

 

 He studied Materials Physics degree at the Public Oviedo University, Oviedo, Spain. Then he coursed 1 year of postgraduate Master on telecommunications from Industrial organization school (EOI) in Madrid. After that he obtained the European Ph.D. degree on Physics in 2008 at the same University and the Extraordinary Doctorate Award in 2010. My research profile is focus on Micro/nanotechnology applied to different industries. Currently, he is working at ITEFI CSIC center with a post-doctoral contract as main researcher of the project SENCEMHIL. He is a participant in a European COST proposal action titled “Towards the next generation of standards for service life of cement-based materials and structures” with the participation of more than 19 countries. Actually his research interests include NDE of concrete materials using embedded micro/nano multi-application sensors and microwave non-destructive testing of cement-based materials.
